The Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol (QBFP) is a division of the Department of Primary Industries (DPI). QBFP is seeking measures to decrease its carbon emissions and costs associated with energy
consumption and improve its reputation by installing solar photovoltaic panels and systems.
This tender seeks to design and install solar photovoltaic panel systems (including all associated infrastructure and professional services) capable of generating more than 70% of the current electricity
demand and reducing associated operational costs for seven (7) QBFP sites (as identified in the columns
below). The systems will cover daylight energy consumption and, where appropriate, support storage of energy for night-time demand.
